Hoolr helps coaches manage cancellations and report on trends. Whenever a session is cancelled, Hoolr asks coaches to report on the reason behind cancellations. Each coach/company will have their own cancellation policies, but these benchmarks can act as a helpful guide.
In 2023, coaching session cancellations trends were:
84% of cancelled sessions were marked as, No charge- Rescheduled by coachee
3% of cancelled sessions were marked as Charged- Cancelled by coachee
13% of marked cancelled sessions were because the coachee did not show
Hoolr calculated the average number of cancelled sessions per 100 coaching sessions. This should act as a benchmark for coaches when considering cancelled sessions.

The thematic analysis focused on recurring patterns and themes across the categories of Challenges, Culture Observations, and Coachee Growth. Coaches were prompted with specific questions under each heading, and the most frequent themes were determined based on the frequency of occurrence in the shared reflections.
